I called in for a quick lunch, to pass the time before the next appointment. I ordered a cheese, caramelised onion and tomato toastie, on harvest granary bread. It came with a lovely little side salad, perfectly dressed, and a little bowl of coleslaw. To say I enjoyed it would be an understatement. It was absolutely perfectly delicious! I loved every mouthful and was sorry when I'd finished. I was also envious of the ham, egg and chips somebody on another table had ordered. Might have to go back and have that! Highly recommend.

Using Hobbs House Bakery bread, our hand cut sandwiches are all carefully made to order right in front of you using fresh ingredients you can pick from our deli counter.

Choose your bread, white or harvest, select your fillings from the deli, then choose from salad, pickles, cheese, mustards, chutneys, coleslaw, mayonaise, tuna and eggs to complete your freshly made sandwich. When eating in, our sandwiches are also served with crisps.

Traditional full English breakfast cooked from fresh with Gold sausages from our butcher's counter, a great all-round mild herb sausage. We also include bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, sauté potatoes, baked beans, tomatoes and eggs just how you would like them, all served with toast or fried bread.

Very popular with a cooked breakfast at Micheal's are homemade hash browns made on the premises using Sandy's secret hash brown recipe.

Enjoyed another fantastic breakfast, sausage and black pudding made on the premises are unbeatable. The owners always make you feel very welcome and the young staff are very helpful and friendly.

Sandy also makes an amazing Bubble & Squeak using another top secret recipe. Delicious with some freshly sliced ham from the deli counter, a couple of poached eggs and some baked beans.

Amazing, tasty brunch. First visit definitely not the last! Had the sausage hash, and hubby had ham and egg breakfast. Quality meat, all locally produced. The staff was super friendly, lots of meat, cheeses, cakes and local produces available to buy from the deli. Little gem in Malmesbury, highly recommend!!!

At Michael's we are very proud of our deli and cheese counter. With over 80 cheeses in stock we work very hard to bring you the best and freshest selection for miles around.

Also available is a wide selection meat we prepare in our own kitchen these include home cured and cooked hams, beef brisket, smoked chickens and hams to name but a few.

We were not expecting to get a vegetarian meal in a butchers shop, albeit a bistro, so were delighted to find a homemade vegetarian quiche option accompanied by golden fluffy chips and a crisp salad with a tasty dressing. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

On our premises we also make sausage rolls and a range of meat pies which include steak and ale and chicken, smoked bacon and leek.

We make our own scotch eggs using homemade breadcrumbs and sausage meat with Sherston eggs in the large ones and quails eggs in the mini ones. The quiches are freshly made using home made shortcrust pastry, seasonal ingredients, fresh eggs and cream.

My daughter and I went for lunch at Michael's last week. I love visiting Malmesbury and to find somewhere really nice to have lunch was brilliant. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and of quality. The staff were really friendly and professional. The premises were welcoming, clean and well ventilated. Definitely a place to return to.

What deli would be complete without a variety of homemade cakes. Sandy is chief cake maker and a real winner is her coffee and walnut.

Visited this lovely deli and cafe a few days ago - bought some of the famous Malmesbury King sausages and had a cappuccino break in the cafe. The home-made coffee cake was the best I'd ever tasted, so light and luscious. I wish I'd had longer to browse all the delicious food on offer here. The cafe was dog-friendly too. Ate the sausages today and they were yummy.

Try Sandy's delicious speciality - individual cheesecake pots. The Mango & Passionfruit variety and Rocky Road (below) are some of her irresistible favourites.

This place is superb you must try it. My favorite place to stop with friends and family for a coffee or food or cake or all together.

Our deli café is now fully licensed too so if you fancy a glass of wine or continental lager you can and when the weather is nice you can choose to sit in our lovely walled courtyard.

We visited this shop last week and were amazed at the range and choice on offer by this knowledgeable butcher. Having made our purchases we decided to stay for lunch and chose to eat in their quaint but delightful outdoor courtyard dining area. The food was to die for, full of flavour, generous in portion size and very reasonably priced. We then had to make further purchases as their award winning sausages and succulent cooked ham were a must.

Only stopped here for a quick drinks break but it must be said the food looked really good and plenty of it to. Really friendly staff.
